Oberon Park Miniature Belted Galloways
Oberon Park is situated in Victoria's beautiful Mornington Peninsula region, (50kms) from the Melbourne CBD.
Established in 2004 by Damien and Carmela Pollock on 20 acres, the stud's main purpose is to breed outstanding miniature Belted Galloways in a natural and healthy environment. As we are a small acreage, with a small herd, it allows us to give as much attention and care to our animals as possible.
Miniature Belted Galloways have all the quality and uniqueness of the standard Belted Galloway, only provided in a smaller package which is great for small acreages.
Belted Galloways offer the following:
1. Versatile breed able to withstand extremes of temperature and climate.
2. Docile disposition.
3. Ease of calving.
4. Naturally polled - no horns which is a dominant characteristics.
5. Strong maternal nature.
6. Strong eye appeal - black colour with striking white belt.
7. Non selective grazers - ability to digest less desirable herbage.
